Maureen’s Readers received our order of over 600 books to stock our “stash” for the teachers of Rice Lake Elementary in Maple Grove. Teachers will access these books and give them to students, fulfilling our mission to foster reading and build home libraries. We are particularly interested in students who would ordinarily be challenged to get books to call their own. We are very fortunate to have recently retired teacher Julie Winslow support our program. Julie took the time to order over 600 books and is shown here categorizing them for proper shelving. We cannot Thank her enough for her help!
